Sometimes this happens when USB tuner get to warm. You need the driver: With DVB the actual recording of the video stream uses very little of the pc’s resources. For example in the tree I put a key for and set it in decimal and it puts it in the registry as hex.

This thread is locked. Did this solve your problem? It recorded 29mins of a p HD show, but seems to fusionhdyv5 crashed when my screen saver cut in, and the recording was ok to play. It worked fine then though the laptop choked at times with HD content. Thanks for marking this as the answer.
